On my ceaseless quest to find nuggets of info and insight related to iPhone business, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Uproar, makers of Gratuitous, recently started a podcast all about their experiences bootstrapping an iPhone business. I love it when developers come out and share their experiences and insights: it helps us and it helps them. Based on the first two episodes, Uproar is off to a great start. (Other developers, take a hint—this kinda thing can really help build buzz for your company).
Check out the first two episodes (they’re worth a listen):
At the end of the second podcast, they point out that blogs are an excellent tool for building buzz for your company and app (using Tapity as an example). I can certainly testify to that. The benefits of blogging go far beyond marketing, though. Through my blog I’ve been forced to form solid opinions on important issues. In the end, this will result in an app far superior to the app I would have released had I not started the blog.

Yeah this is good stuff. I had a listen this past week.
