I am currently working on a huge post, revealing my marketing master plan in detail. This screenshot may give you some hints into a few aspects of this plan.

By the way, I’m looking for some awesome graphic designers to judge this competition. If you think you may fit the bill (or know someone that does), shoot me an email.

I welcome your feedback.

  1. now this looks great! looking forward to the blog post about your marketing plan… I'm sure I will learn from this :)
the only thing I'm not a huge fan of, is the "Grades" font… but I think this is subjective.

i think that it has uncohesive feel – since you have the main area with a 3d kind of shelf with a realistic feel and a webish sidebar.
and you must change the logo – the typography is more broadway/mexican restaurants font rather than an iphone app with groovy look & feel.
also the form elements look kind of old.
you have some nice app going on but i don't think that this site suits it.

    good luck!

I can kind of spot the marketing plan :P
I must say that the way the site currently looks is a bit visually cluttered. You’re using 3 columns and they all contain something visually attracting.

I also suggest using the competition as part two of your plan. I’m really confused by having to choose between signing up for release info or joining the competition.

    I hope this helps,

    Glenn

    Thanks for the feedback, ya'll.

I think what I've gotten from this is that I need to choose one call to action and draw the user's attention to that. I think the "notify me when it's available" button is probably the most important call to action. Thus, in upcoming iterations I will try to highlight that and subdue the other elements.

On other tiny thing that I recommend is the your email thing. When I click the field but forget what I had to enter, I have to click somewhere else first..
Try putting your email in front or above the input field.
    :)
